Description | Task 1 – Materials Testing during Construction The firm shall provide Quality Assurance ( QA ) materials sampling and testing services to ensure that the quality of construction materials is in compliance with the project specifications . The testing services will be for the owner ’ s acceptance . The selected testing firm shall provide the following : • Provide an American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials ( AASHTO ) accredited laboratory equipped to perform material testing for compliance with the NDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2014 test procedures and Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction ( Orange Book ). • Provide certified testing personnel in accordance with the Nevada Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction ( NAQTC )/ Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction ( WAQTC ) and American Concrete Institute ( ACI ) certified testers . • Provide necessary trucks , Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE ), sampling , and field testing equipment . |
