NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD NAME BRAND PART The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Supply Chain Management (OSCM). The purchase order will precure forty (40) board, tracking frames SMARTSKBox Parts (Atlantic Zeiser Part HEAB010000480, K&B Part SP34780-EAB010000480) for various press machines at the Western Currency Facility (WCF). The board, tracking frame is proprietary and can only be acquired from either Atlantic Zeiser or Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. Therefore, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to Atlantic Zeiser or K&B in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
