Description | Notice to Register for the upcoming ITO – Student Program Planning and Progression Validation Solution The University of Queensland (UQ) intends to issue an Invitation to Offer (ITO) for the provision and implementation of a Student Program Planning and Progression Validation solution, including associated support and maintenance services, in the first week of November 2026. Many programs at UQ offer students multiple pathways to attain a qualification. UQ currently relies on highly manual and fragmented processes to interpret complex program rules, support student planning, validate academic progression and confirm graduation eligibility. These processes create operational challenges and can negatively impact the student experience. UQ is seeking a subscription-based commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Student Program Planning and Progression Validation solution to address these challenges. The scope also includes professional services for implementation, integration and transition to operational support, together with ongoing support and maintenance services. Invitation to Register Interest UQ has undertaken preliminary market research and intends to conduct a selective ITO process. UQ invites interested suppliers to register their interest for consideration. Suppliers wishing to participate must provide the following information: Organisation details • Organisation name • ABN, ACN or equivalent business registration identifier • Business address and website • Primary contact name, email address and telephone number Solution and capability information A brief overview of: the proposed COTS solution, including its core functionality relevant to student program planning, academic progression and graduation eligibility validation. relevant experience implementing the proposed solution, or a substantially comparable solution, within higher education institutions, including experience in Australia and New Zealand, where available. the supplier's capability and delivery arrangements for implementation, integration, ongoing support and maintenance services. Registrations will be assessed having regard to the supplier's relevant higher education experience, the suitability and maturity of its proposed commercially available solution, and its demonstrated capability to deliver implementation and ongoing support services. UQ will invite suppliers assessed as suitably qualified and capable of meeting its requirements to participate in the ITO process. UQ reserves the right to request additional information or clarification to support its assessment. The ITO is currently scheduled to close on 20 November 2026. UQ reserves the right to extend the ITO closing date where considered appropriate. Registration of interest does not guarantee an invitation to participate or any subsequent contract award. UQ reserves the right to include suppliers who may not have responded through this Notice to Register. UQ reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the procurement process, subject to applicable procurement requirements. UQ will communicate any material changes to relevant suppliers as appropriate. |
