Description | The WORK covered in the Contract Documents generally includes reconstruction of : Nowell Avenue ( from Cordova Street to approximately 125 feet northwest of Sitka Street ). The WORK generally consists of : Replacement of underground water transmission and distribution pipe networks with new 10 ” and 14 ” HDPE pipe , water services of various types and sizes , and fire hydrants . WORK will include installation of temporary water systems to maintain service to affected residents and the adjacent pump station ; Replacement of the existing sanitary sewer systems with new manholes , 8 ” PVC sewer pipe , and 6 ” and 8 ” services with cleanouts , New underground storm drain system consisting of 12 ” and 18 ” CPP , as well as underdrains . Excavation , grading and shaping of basecourse material , asphalt pavement , concrete curb & gutter , concrete valley gutters , guardrail , and miscellaneous other improvements necessary for a complete project |
