This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Old Jesup Road Drainage Improvement project . The successful bidder shall provide all skill , labor , material and equipment for the removal of the existing 6 ' x 2 . 5 box culvert and associated Storm pipe at Old Jesup Rd and the installation of a double run of 48 inch concrete RCP Class III pipe with associated head walls as indicated in the construction plans attached herein . The work to be performed under this contract includes , but is not limited to , the following items : Road cut and removal of existing asphalt and 12 " concrete road base , Removal of the existing box culvert and storm system and the installation of approximately 64 linear feet of 48 - inch Class III RCP storm pipe and installation of Headwalls , Traffic control and maintenance of traffic in accordance with approved traffic control plans , dewatering operations as required to facilitate construction , backfilling , compaction , grading , and restoration of disturbed areas , borrow material placement and grading , as necessary , Storm drainage and structure installation , bypass pumping if necessary to prevent flooding upstream . Erosion and sedimentation control measures , grassing and final site stabilization . All work shall be performed in strict accordance with : Construction plans and drawings , Technical specifications , Special provisions , and scope of work .
