Description | Valley Water requires experienced , and qualified firms to provide professional services to Valley Water ’ s Office of Emergency Services for its exercise program , training program , emergency planning activities , and other related emergency management program support functions services on an on - call or an “ as needed ” basis . Project Objectives 1 ) Support Valley Water ’ s emergency management training program , including the development training classes , conducting training including standardized FEMA and Cal OES classes . 2 ) Design , conduct , and evaluate emergency management and homeland security exercises . 3 ) Enhance emergency management and homeland security - related planning efforts across the Prevention , Protection , Response , Mitigation , and Recovery mission areas . 4 ) Enhance Valley Water ’ s preparedness , response , and recovery capabilities through planning , training , and exercise support . |
