Description | By way of this Request for Qualifications ( RFQ ), the County of Tuolumne through its Department of Public Works (“ County ”) intends to pre - qualify and select up to four ( 4 ) qualified traffic engineering firms ( each , a “ consultant ”) to provide on - call traffic services . These firms will support the planning , design , and construction of various federal aid , state , and locally funded projects . Projects may include , but are not limited to , road improvements , safety improvement projects currently programmed with the Highway Safety Improvement Program ( HSIP ), bridge projects currently programmed with the Highway Bridge Program ( HBP ), Active Transportation Program ( ATP ) projects , and Emergency Relief Program ( ER ) projects . Firms responding to this RFQ should be fully familiar with and experienced in meeting the requirements of both State and Federal procedures pertaining to federally funded projects . |
