The intent of this solicitation is to develop a list of prequalified contractors that will be utilized by the City for on - call work that is assigned on a as - needed basis . Contractors placed onto this list are not guaranteed work with the City or the Facilities Division as scope of work and frequency will fluctuate on an annual basis . Contractors on this list will be utilized on a rotating basis with special consideration given to availability and work commitment . Work will be assigned through written task order with documents routed via DocuSign . Scope of work exceeding $ 10 , 000 will require a minimum of three quotes from different contractors to be reviewed . All contractor quotes must be provided with appropriate cost breakdowns showing distribution in relevant categories ( i . e . labor , materials , equipment , taxes , shipping , percentage markup ).
