PROJECT OVERVIEW The purpose of this project is to deploy environmental monitoring and vape detection sensors throughout selected district facilities to improve indoor air quality monitoring , student safety , and facility environmental awareness . The system will integrate with the existing AXIS security infrastructure utilized by GESD . Sensor quantities by building : Building Sensor Count GEHS – 1st Floor 19 GEHS – 2nd Floor 9 Advanced Technical Center ( ATC ) 5 Alternative Education Building 2 Pioneer Ridge Middle School 12 Trail Ridge Middle School 12 Wheatridge Middle School 14 TOTAL REQUIRED SENSORS 73 2 . SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS – AXIS ECOSYSTEM INTEGRATION All sensors must fully integrate with AXIS Camera Station , AXIS Device Manager Extend , and AXIS Site Designer . The system must support email / SMS alerts and secure PoE installation . 3 . SCOPE OF WORK Vendor Responsibilities : ● Conduct pre - installation walkthroughs . ● Confirm all sensor installation locations . ● Install devices , cabling , and mounting hardware . o Existing Category 6 network cabling is available at GEHS , ATC , and the Alternative Education Building . Vendor shall verify connectivity and provide any additional cabling required for proper installation . ● Configure AXIS integrations and alert routing . ● Perform testing and commissioning . ● Provide staff training and documentation . ● Complete all work between June 1 , 2026 and July 31 , 2026 . ● Vendor shall coordinate all work with district technology staff to ensure proper network configuration and device registration within the AXIS platform . District Responsibilities : ● Provide access to facilities . ● Approve sensor placement . ● Provide AXIS system access . 4 . PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS ● Proposals must include company background ● Technical proposal ● Cost proposal using Response Sheets ● Project schedule
