Enclosed herewith is a Request for Expressions of Interest (“ RFEOI ”) by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (“ Authority ”) for professional supervision of construction services required for Contract P200 . 865 , Roadway Lighting Improvements at Interchange 145 on Garden State Parkway , Mileposts 146 . 7 to 147 . 4 . In accordance with N . J . A . C . 19 : 9 - 2 . 8 ( b ), this Order for Professional Services (“ OPS ”) is considered a Simple procurement . PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work to be performed under Contract No . P200 . 865 , which is expected to be awarded at the May 2026 Commission Meeting , will consist of roadway lighting and power distribution upgrades at Interchange 145 on New Jersey Garden State Parkway , Mileposts 146 . 4 to 147 . 4 . Work will include the removal of existing Turnpike Authority owned roadway lighting systems and installation of a multiple phase lighting distribution system with LED luminaires , including new conduit where existing cannot be re - used and as defined per contract plans . In addition to existing light pole locations , new light poles are proposed for this project in areas where it is feasible to extend the lighting zones . The estimated construction cost for Contract No . P200 . 865 is approximately $ 8 , 900 , 000 with an estimated duration for construction of twenty - four ( 24 ) months , including contract closeout .
