Description | PROVIDE AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR LETTER FROM THE MANUFACTURER WITH QUOTE .* Contractors providing products shall provide descriptive literature describing equal characteristics found in SOW and must be compatible with current system . If providing a foreign item , please fill out the applicable parts of the SF 1449 starting at page 48In accordance with FAR 25 . 106 ( 1 )( i )( A ) and FAR 25 . 106 ( 1 )( i )( B ), offers from domestic vendors will be given a price evaluation preference of20 percent , if the lowestdomestic offeris from a large business concern ; or30 percent , if the lowestdomestic offeris from a small business concern . Thecontracting officermustuse this factor , or another factor established in agency regulations , in small business set - asides if the lowofferis from a small business concern offering the product of a small business concern that is not adomestic end product . This preference will be applied during the evaluation process to promote the purchase of domestic supplies and services . |
