INVITATION AND PURPOSE The Board of Education (“ Board ”) of Douglas County School District 0001 ( Omaha Public Schools ) (“ District ” or “ OPS ”) invites qualified and experienced implementation firms ( hereinafter individually a “ Firm ” and collectively “ Firms ”) to submit a proposal for the deployment of Oracle Fusion . This RFP outlines the District ’ s specific requirements regarding the implementation and customization of the Oracle Fusion application . The District is seeking Services ( as defined in the following paragraph ) that are specified in the RFP Documents ( as defined in Section 4 . 1 hereof ). The proposals and the Services submitted will be evaluated by the District ’ s evaluation committee , which will make a recommendation to the Board regarding which Firm or Firms should provide the Services to the District . The Board will make the final decision as to which Firm or Firms , if any , will supply the Services . Multiple Firms may be awarded contracts for some or all of the Services . Once the terms of a contract are negotiated and agreed upon by the District and the selected Firm or Firms , the contract ( s ) will be presented to the Board of Education for approval . The District seeks a Firm with proven experience with K - 12 school districts to provide implementation services ( the “ Services ”) for Oracle Fusion deployment for the District , including , but not limited to , project management , solution design , configuration , integration , data migration , testing , training strategy and delivery , cutover , hypercare , and knowledge transfer for sustainable operations . The Firm may engage subcontractors as needed but will remain fully responsible for coordination and delivery of all services . The Firm should demonstrate a comprehensive approach to meet all requirements in this RFP and referenced attachments . INTEGRATION REQUIREMENTS The District currently utilizes a variety of third - party systems in conjunction with PeopleSoft to deliver services across the District . The following table lists third - party systems currently active within the District as of the issuance of this RFP . The Firm will be responsible for designing , developing and implementing the Oracle Integration Cloud ( OIC ) Integration Layer to orchestrate and manage integrations as listed in Section 2 . 1 Integration Requirements . The District is open to Contractor recommendations where core ERP functionality may reasonably consolidate or replace existing third - party systems or integrations . Contractors are encouraged to identify opportunities where their proposed solution may offer improved integration , efficiency , or alignment .
