Organising the Europe Day festival and family day in 2023

<b> <i>Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/docsroom/documents/40287" target="_blank">intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. </a> </i></b> <br /> </br>The Representation, together with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Hungary, traditionally organises a festival and family day attracting 10,000-15,000 people to celebrate Europe day. The subject of this call for tenders is organising and running the Europe Day festival and family day to be held in Budapest on 14 May 2023 from 10:00 to 20:00. The objective of the Europe Day festival and family day is to bring the EU closer to its citizens by presenting the communication priorities of the European Commission and familiarising the public with the European Union’s current goals, so that people can understand the contribution the EU makes, the tangible benefits it brings, and the rights and opportunities open to them as EU citizens. The main target groups of the festival are young people and families. The event seeks to attract wide media attention, therefore the proposed visual appearance, activities and speakers/performers shall be selected by the tenderer with this in mind.
