The University is seeking proposals from qualified firms for painting services . 4 . 1 . Painting Services 4 . 1 . 1 . Indicate the ability to provide general painting services to include but not limited to prep work , priming , painting , staining , clear coat finishes , and striping for interior and exterior surfaces on new construction , alterations , repairs , parking lots and for routine maintenance . 4 . 1 . 1 . 1 . If not , describe how you would meet this requirement . 4 . 1 . 2 . Indicate the ability to perform in accordance with the University ’ s Design Guidelines and Technical Standards , Division 01 and Division 09 . 4 . 1 . 2 . 1 . If not , describe how you would meet this requirement . 4 . 1 . 3 . Indicate ability to ensure that the Successful Proposer and all assigned personnel consistently adhere to the highest standards of professionalism . 4 . 1 . 4 . The University requires a rapid response to correct graffiti . Indicate the ability to respond the same day once notified by the University . 4 . 1 . 4 . 1 . If not , describe how you would meet this requirement . 4 . 1 . 5 . At the completion of the project , Successful Proposer to remove any debris , tools or any other potential hazards from the area and at completion of the project return site to its original condition . 4 . 1 . 5 . 1 . Describe the safety plan and the process to utilize , store and dispose of hazardous material . 4 . 1 . 6 . Upon receiving project notification from the University , indicate when the University can expect to receive a quote . 4 . 1 . 7 . Provide information required to quote new construction price by lineal foot pricing with limited fixtures . 4 . 1 . 8 . Provide information required to quote maintenance painting by lineal foot pricing with furniture and fixture in the space . 4 . 1 . 9 . Describe customer service standards and ability to ensure quality performance . 4 . 1 . 10 . Must maintain valid State of Arizona CR - 34 , provide license number or another Arizona equivalent contracting license with Proposal . 4 . 1 . 11 . Indicate the ability to maintain adequate supply of all materials and tools necessary for performance of painting services . 4 . 1 . 12 . Indicate ability to accurately report and track all work performed . 4 . 1 . 13 . Describe how Proposer would manage their staff / team ’ s workload to ensure that work is being completed correctly , on - time , and efficiently . 4 . 2 . Warranties . 4 . 2 . 1 . Each Proposal shall state the warranties to be offered by Proposer . 4 . 3 . Additional Services . Proposer may offer additional goods and / or services not specifically requested in this RFP , including associated costs . The University shall determine , in its sole discretion , which additional goods / service options are the most beneficial from both a cost and service standpoint , and may further negotiate these options to include or omit , at any time throughout the Contract or any renewal term , dependent on the needs of the University . 4 . 4 . Quality Assurance Plan . Proposals shall provide a quality assurance plan that details the methods by which the Proposer guarantees performance . 4 . 5 . Asbestos , Lead , PCBs and Other Hazards . 4 . 5 . 1 . As with any work site , University campus buildings have the potential to house hazards including ( but not limited to ) hazardous building materials , chemical , biological , or physical hazards , or conditions which may become hazardous based on specific work scope or practices . The University ’ s Hazard Inspection program exists to provide hazard information on a location and scope specific basis . Prior to commencement of any construction / renovation , repair , installation , or other services which are deemed to have the potential to impact building or infrastructure components or result in worker exposure to hazards , Proposer must review , sign , and return the project specific hazard inspection and communication form prepared by the University ’ s EH & S department .
