Description | In general , the work is comprised of renovation of an existing public building and parking lot . The Palms Park Community Center is located in east Lakewood at 12305 207th St , Lakewood , CA 90715 . The purpose of the Palms Park Community Center Improvements project is to provide infrastructure reinvestment and renewal due to the age and the condition of the facility . The project scope includes the addition of a new ADA Compatible restroom , removal of existing outdoor patio area and replacement with additional indoor space , path of travel improvements , storefront and other exterior siding improvements , flooring and ceiling renovation , asbestos abatement , roof replacement , HVAC system replacement , new fire sprinkler system , electrical improvements , lighting upgrades , renovation of office , storage and assembly room spaces , park hardscape and parking lot improvements and interior / exterior signage upgrades . |
