Description | The selected Consultant will work with the Parks , Recreation and Community Services Department to study amending the Park Impact Fee for the City of Kent . Work will entail all aspects of park impact fee development including ; A . Review existing impact fees in the City of Kent to assess current impact fee burdens on economic development . B . Assist the City on projecting future growth and estimate future costs of the proposed park projects intended to provide additional capacity for new growth . C . Recommend changes in policy , fee calculation methodology and rate structure as necessary to create a park impact fee that meets Kent ’ s needs . D . Assess estimated revenue that would be generated by implementing a park impact fee . E . Document the study and recommendations . F . Meet with key staff and elected officials ; provide briefings to the Kent City Council . A more detailed scope will be developed with the selected firm . |
