Description

Pavement replacement is located on the Pioneer Trail from the edge of Fruitridge Avenue Tunnel west to the Kent County line ; optional trail replacement to 4 Mile / Hayes . The trail is 7 , 000 linear feet at 10 ’ wide ; optional section is 1 , 800 linear feet . The scope of services shall include , but not limited to , the following requirements : • Crush and shape existing trail 5 ” depth fine grade material , apply 2 % cross slope , compact to 95 %. • Trail ( s ) to be paved at 3 . 5 ” depth , 2 ” base MDOT 13A , 1 . 5 ” top course MDOT 36A , compacted in place . • Contractor to grade after crush and shape to generate material to restore edges after paving is complete . • Contractor to grade out shoulders to match finish grade . • Reset any storm / sanitary / utility structures to finish grade .
