INTRODUCTION : The City of Fort Smith is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive site development , concrete and structural foundation work , a mechanical building , all electrical work , and all related infrastructure for the construction of a new waterslide installation project at Parrot Island Water Park . This project aims to enhance our recreational facilities by delivering a safe , durable , and high - quality foundation to support the structural and operational requirements of the waterslide system . The scope of work includes site preparation , excavation , concrete construction , drainage systems , a new mechanical building , electrical , and any necessary assessments to ensure stability and compliance with all relevant safety and building codes . Contractors are expected to demonstrate expertise in civil engineering , concrete construction , and waterslide or similar recreational infrastructure projects . The selected contractor will collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with the waterslide structure . Proposals should detail the contractor ’ s approach , timeline , cost estimates , and evidence of prior successful projects . This RFP aims to identify a partner capable of delivering exceptional quality and reliability to support this exciting addition to our facility . 1 . 06 . SCOPE OF WORK : A . Site Development – Perform all required site grading for the waterslide , mechanical building and surrounding improvements . Provide and install perimeter fencing . B . Concrete and Structural Work – Provide concrete foundation work for slide tower and waterslide supports , concrete surge tank construction , required reinforced concrete associated with site and area development . Coordinate anchor bolts placement and templates with manufacturer and slide installer . C . Coordination with slide installer for final slide tie - ins and testing . D . Mechanical Building – Construct new mechanical building to house pumps filters , systems and electrical . Coordinate with aquatic equipment supplier and slide installer . E . Electrical – Provide all electrical work , conduits wiring , bonding , grounding and connections for complete operation of systems . F . Inspection / Testing – Coordinate , schedule and document inspection reports . 1 . 07 . CONDITIONS : A . Proposers shall submit their Proposals and all documentation required by this Request for Proposals in one complete package to City of Fort Smith as described in 1 . 04 . Failure to include any part of the requested information or documentation may result in the disqualification of the Proposal .
