Description | HOT - MIX ASPHALT Specifications : All paving will be in accordance with the latest Vermont Agency of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction , Sections 406 & 407 , and will include the following : Hot mix asphalt • For pavement thickness and dimensional type see the Road List in the bid documents . The Contractor shall provide 65 gyration Superpave mix with 70 - 28 liquid asphalt for this contract . Mix design shall meet the requirements of 406 . 03B COMPOSITION OF MIXTURE - SUPERPAVE of the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction . No more than 25 % RAP shall be used . Mix designs shall be submitted to the Town Engineer not less than 2 weeks prior to the first day of scheduled paving . Each days production of HMA shall be produced from a single HMA plant , unless approved by the Engineer . |
