Description | Contractor to provide the following services for our GE 220600KVA hydrogen cooled generators model 7FH2 - GTG . Partial discharge Rotor flux End - winding Vibration Data to be collected onsite A final report containing the analysis and recommend action of each unit to be provided as needed Rotor Flux ; This assessment consists of on - line air - gap magnetic flux measurements for detection of shorted turns in the rotor winding . A flux probe was installed in the “ air gap ” between the rotor and the stator on a wedge of the stator . It picks up the change in magnetic flux as the rotor spins . This change in magnetic flux can be evaluated by mathematical integration to provide numerical data that is proportional to the total flux . If there is a shorted turn on one or more rotor poles , the total flux is expected to be lower for the affected pole as compared to the healthy poles . Carry out a condition assessment of the CT7A , CT7B , and ST7 rotor windings by gathering data at site and interpreting readings . |
