Description

Description

Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Disparities Program, the PPHD launched the Pasadena Equitably Advancing Children’s Health (PEACH) Collaborative in August 2022. The PEACH Collaborative is a local initiative to partner with community-based organizations to implement community-based solutions and provide trustworthy wellness resources for those disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The overarching goal of the PEACH Collaborative is to build trust and awareness among the Pasadena community with PPHD to promote COVID-19 vaccine confidence in Hispanic/Latinx and Black/African American communities, as well as parents of children and infants ages 0-11. The PEACH Collaborative aims to develop COVID-19 vaccine outreach tools in partnership with ArtCenter College of Design. Community-based organizations are invited to participate in the PEACH Collaborative to promote and advocate for community wellness and vaccines for youth ages 0-11, build trust among the community with PPHD, and collaborate on innovative community-based interventions.
