Description
Description | The scope of work is intended to prepare the site for future development demolition of existing buildings and features , excluding structures designated for preservation . Scope includes hazardous material abatement , utility removals , environmental controls , protection of remaining assets , and site restoration with backfill and rough grading . Work will be coordinated with regulatory agencies and sequenced to enable a smooth transition into Phase 3 construction . At some point during the execution of Phase 2 , the Department will initiate negotiations with the selected Professional for Phase 3 – New Construction . Small Diverse Business ( SDB ) and Veteran Business Enterprise ( VBE ) participation requirements will be established by the Department for Phase 3 at that time . The new campus will include 19 new buildings ranging in size from 106 , 820 sq . ft to 800 sq . ft . and renovations to 2 existing buildings to remain . |
