Pest Control Fumigation Project at Newport Coast & Kaiser Elementary Schools

The Contractor shall provide termite abatement fumigation services and subsequent wood - destroying pest and organism inspection services at the following Newport - Mesa USD sites , Kaiser ES All buildings and all portables , Newport Coast ES All buildings and all portables . The Contractor shall furnish all supervision , labor , materials , and equipment necessary to accomplish pesticide fumigation application components of this agreement . The termite abatement services shall be provided during the District ’ s non - business hours as follows : one ( 1 - 3 ) days for tenting , one ( 1 ) day for treatment , and one ( 1 - 3 ) days for clearance . The Contractor shall perform termite abatement services after the close of District business hours on Friday , and termite abatement services shall be completed prior to the start of District business hours the following Monday , unless otherwise requested by the Director of Maintenance & Operations . All work dates and times must be approved by the Director of Maintenance & Operations . Following abatement services , the Contractor shall perform annual wood - destroying pest and organism inspections , for a total of two ( 2 ) inspections . The Contractor shall perform inspection services during District business hours , unless otherwise requested and agreed upon with the Director of Maintenance & Operations . The Director of Maintenance & Operations must approve all work dates and times before work is performed .
