The University seeks to retain the services of a Supplier to comply with all Higher Education , State , and federal requirements and support the University ’ s mission of supplying high quality education to its students and contributing to the advancement of the entire state of Oklahoma . Deliver fast effective service to University Departments . Contain the overall costs of a responsive program . The proposed solution shall be : Flexible to accommodate changing requirements and conditions as needed during the life of the contract ; Flexible to comply with , and advance , Higher Education , State and Federal policy changes ; Expandable and reducible , as needed , to meet Contract goals and objectives ; and , Collaborative with University staff and other University Suppliers to advance Contract goals and objectives . Supplier Qualifications : Licensing & Certifications : Supplier must hold all required Oklahoma pest control business licenses . All Technicians must maintain valid Oklahoma pesticide applicator licenses appropriate to the services being performed . Experience Requirements : A minimum of three ( 3 ) years of commercial or higher - education pest control experience . Demonstrated experience providing Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ) services in residential , educational , laboratory , or food - service environments . Training : Technicians must receive annual training on IPM practices , EPA label compliance , and pesticide safety . Supervisors must have formal training in IPM and oversight of multi - site programs . Criminal Background Checks : All Technicians performing Work on campus must pass a background check per University policy . Technicians must maintain appropriate identification and may be subject to additional screening for residence halls , childcare areas , or sensitive environments . The University reserves the right to reject any Technician or Subcontractor deemed unqualified or unsafe . Must be intimately familiar with the challenges faced by institutions of Higher Education . Services to be Provided by the Supplier : Provide comprehensive Integrated Pest Management ( IPM ) services , including monitoring , treatment , prevention , and documentation for all designated University facilities . Services must be performed using EPA - approved products and evidence - based pest - control practices . The Supplier must perform pest control at each location according to the frequency listed in the attached “ Pest Control – Locations and Treatment Frequencies ” schedule . Additional locations may be added due to campus expansions or as additional departments require services as needed , including but not limited to those identified in the schedule . Frequencies include : Monthly treatments Quarterly treatments
