Physical Therapy Services

● Assesses students to identify physical therapy needs impacting access to the educational environment ● Conducts evaluations using standardized assessments , observations , and functional mobility measures ● Writes evaluation reports and maintains case records for students ● Participates in eligibility , IEP , and school - based team meetings ● Develops and supports implementation of motor and mobility goals within IEPs ● Provides direct and consultative physical therapy services to students ● Supports positioning , mobility , transfers , and access to school environments ● Recommends and monitors use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices ● Monitors student progress and adjusts interventions as needed ● Collaborates / communicates with staff , parents , and related service providers ● Provides guidance to staff on safe handling , positioning , and mobility strategies ● Complies with Federal , State , and Local Regulations and completes required documentation within timelines ; Service Requirement ; Full time equivalent therapists ( 35 hours per week during the regular school year ) to provide services at schools to be determined . Positions may be shared . All bidders MUST be able to supply therapists by August 4 , 2026 . Please do not bid unless you can guarantee these placements .
