Amtrak expects to launch a two-step procurement for a Project Manager / Construction Manager contractor in support of the Chicago Hub Improvement Program's (CHIP) Concourse Modernization Project (CMP) at Chicago Union Station (CUS). First will be a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), followed by a down-selected list of contractors invited to participate in the formal Request for Proposals (RFP). The anticipated project delivery method is Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), with the design presently progressed to 30%.
