Product and / or service to be purchased : Portable Photosynthesis System with Fluorometer Proposed Sole Source Supplier : LI - COR Sole Source Justification : The LI - 6800F is the only portable photosynthesis system that integrates high - speed Infrared Gas Analyzers ( IRGAs ) directly within the sensor head , eliminating the measurement lag typical of console - based systems . It features the patented RACiR ( Rapid A - Ci Response ) technology , allowing for continuous , non - steady - state CO2 response curves . Furthermore , its 6800 - 01A Fluorometer offers a 500 kHz sampling rate and Multiphase Flash ( MPF ) protocols , which are required to accurately extrapolate maximum fluorescence in species that are difficult to light - saturate . |
