The Design Consultant and its team will be responsible for the following tasks : • Perform Survey and Mapping services : Consultant should be able to provide topographic survey , including utility , property boundary , right of way and easement locations . • Provide Geotechnical Investigation and Recommendations : Consultant shall be able to perform geotechnical studies and provide recommendations in a geotechnical report for design and construction of the recycled water line . • Provide Utility and ROW Engineering and Land Assessment : Consultant shall be able to locate utilities along the proposed alignment , identify potential conflicts , and provide alternatives . The Consultant and its team should have the ability to provide assistance in locating areas where ROW is not sufficient and facilitate acquisition of easements , if needed . • Provide Pipeline Design Documents : Consultant shall prepare a comprehensive Basis of Design report selecting the design and construction method , identifying all obstacles and remedies , prepare construction documents for the pipeline project , provide a construction cost estimate and provide technical specifications for bidding the project . Construction documents shall meet and comply with requirements from the Title XVI federal grant . • Federal Design and Grant Coordination : Consultant shall prepare design documents that are suitable for review by the U . S . Bureau of Reclamation and shall support the City in responding to federal agency comments , requests for information , and required revisions ...
