Provide Recreational Services and Activities at West Side Park

The contract to be awarded under these specifications shall grant the right and privileges to the Concessionaire to provide comprehensive recreational services and activities in West Side Park , Newark , New Jersey . A . The contract to be awarded under these specifications is not a lease . B . Concessionaire shall provide and maintain the necessary equipment and supplies to provide comprehensive recreational services and activities . C . Concessionaire shall have utilization of the West Side Park Community Center . Storage must be organized neatly and adhere to all fire and building codes . No storage is allowed in the electrical or mechanical area . D . Concessionaire shall provide , in the aforementioned park , a 6 - week summer day camp program during the months of July and August . The camp shall operate Monday through Friday from 9 : 00 a . m . to 4 : 00 p . m . for children ages 6 to 12 years . The minimum camper to staff ratio shall be one ( 1 ) paid staff member for every fifteen ( 15 ) campers . Programming must include , but not be limited to , instruction in athletics , games , drama , arts and crafts , nature activities and music . Campers can be enrolled in camp in one - week intervals . Concessionaire shall submit a roster of participants to include name and address the Friday before the start of each program . Campers must be provided with t - shirts ( at the successful vendor ’ s expense ) to be worn during camp hours .
