Description | The Project will upgrade aging infrastructure within the remote Indigenous community of Mutitjulu, nestled within Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. This critical project prioritises the delivery of reliable Essential Services and Renewables while minimising environmental impact and fostering long-term development for the community with new infrastructure compliant to current standards. The existing essential services infrastructure in Mutitjulu, including power, water, and sewer systems, is over 30 years old. These systems are prone to failures, leading to expensive emergency repairs and service disruptions. Such disruptions pose significant health and safety risks to the community, particularly with extreme indoor temperatures and potential issues with raw sewage handling and storage. |
