Purpose The City of Raleigh ( COR ) is solicitating proposals from one or more firm ( s ) with which to contract for the following services : Pullen Park is seeking to purchase a sledding hill attraction for temporary installation during the winter season , from early December through the end of February . The product should include a slope or slope covering and equipment for participants that is reusable annually . Firm should provide staffing for the attraction during the park ’ s Holiday Express event ( taking place during the first three weeks of December ), and both installation and de - installation . 4 SCOPE OF SERVICES Awarded proposer shall provide services , all as set forth in this RFP and more particularly described in this Section 4 . • Provide Pullen Park with a sledding hill to be used as an outdoor winter attraction beginning in December 2026 and ending in February 2027 . • Attraction should include a slope or slope covering , sledding equipment , and a seasonal setting , all being temporary in nature and able to be largely reused in future years . • Include a model that considers accommodation for a variety of ages and physical abilities . • Provide delivery , installation , de - installation , and logistical support . • Use of the product should be able to be managed during daily operations by park staff and volunteers . • Provide staffing during the park ’ s Holiday Express event , and on - site training for staff to run the attraction during the rest of the season .
