Description

INTENT : To purchase , a , 4 ” Portable Trash Pump with Diesel engine on a Single Axle Trailer or Equal , conforming to the following features and specifications . PUMP : Reference : Godwin Dri - Prime Model CD104M Automatic Self - Priming ( up to 28 feet ) Critically Silenced Diesel Pump set , or department approved equal . FUNCTIONS : The portable Water Pump specified in this section will be used to pump water in applications requiring a suction lift or as an inline booster pump . The portable trash pump specified in this section will be used to pump domestic raw sewage with its typical debris , grit , grease and rags . 3 - inch diameter ( 75mm ) solids handling capabilities . The pump must be fitted with a fully automatic priming System incorporating an air compressor , air ejector assembly and an air / water separation tank . No water shall be required in the pump to achieve a prime . The air ejector shall operate on the discharge side of the compressor , eliminating the possibility of water being drawn into the air source . The pump must be capable of running totally dry for periods up to 24 hours ...
