Description | Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to furnish and deliver FOB , Lincoln , Nebraska , steel structures . Material 1 . Unless noted otherwise on the drawings , material shall meet the following specifications : a . W shapes shall conform to ASTM A992 50 KSI b . C shapes shall conform to ASTM A36 c . L shapes shall conform to ASTM A36 . d . Rectangular HSS shall conform to ASTM A500 Gr . B 46 KSI e . Plates shall conform to ASTM A36 f . Bolts shall conform to ASTM F3125 Gr . A325 g . Nuts shall conform to ASTM A563 h . Washers shall conform to ASTM F436 E . Fabrication 1 . Fabrication shall meet the requirements of all standards referenced in section C of this specification . 2 . Machine welding shall be used to the extent practical . All shop welding not performed by machines shall be performed by AWS certified welders . |
