The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Ramp & Elevated Walkway at Kalkie SS, located at 257 Bargara Road, Kalkie QLD 4670, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program. The area of the works is located in the centre of the school and includes ramping and stairs to provide wheelchair access to A block, B block and C block. The proposed new ramps will be covered and have screening. There is good site access and laydown area. All works to be completed by April 2026. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements: Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00 QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract. Submissions close on 12/12/2025 at 3:00pm via email to tenders@honeywill.com.au
