Description

Description

The objective and extent of the procurement is to procure a system for bacteriological automation, which shall include instrumentation for exhausted, incubation, transport of agar bowls, digital photography for assessing education on agar bowls and further sample preparation. The instruments in the automation line shall be controlled by the accompanying software, possibly supplemented with different applications, which can be integrated with the hospital ́s laboratory information system (LIS).  The objective of the procurement is to be able to handle several bacteriological samples without a need for an equivalent increase in manpower. The automation shall contribute to standardised processes, higher quality, fewer manual errors and more efficient handling of large amounts of samples through optimised sample and data flow, where emphasis is put on instrumentation. A high degree of flexibility is important for adapting workflows for changed needs.  The system must be able to be placed in the stated area. The integration of the necessary existing equipment and options for future expansions will be emphasised.  See the Requirement Specifications with annexes and the Price form for further details.  Subject to the contracting authority being aware that due to uncertain financial situation at the customer, signing the contract requires final financial approval from the contracting authority. If this is not achieved, the competition can be cancelled the Customer has a strict policy for using the existing remote access system. If we are using another system, we need to document why it is not possible to use our system and start the process of assessing alternative remote access system. Signing the contract is subject to ROS approval and approval in the (ICT) architectural forum.
