Description | Provide a full - time care QRTP for placement of children , using a trauma - informed treatment model . Must have a registered / licensed nursing staff available 24 / 7 . Must facilitate participation of family members in the child ’ s treatment program to the extent appropriate . Provides discharge planning and family - based after - care support for at least six months post discharge . Provide all management , oversight , and related functions to operate the QRTP . Accept children with a psychiatric diagnosis as described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders that includes severe emotional disturbance ( SED ) and where the children ’ s needs cannot be met in traditional family foster care . Provide data , reporting , records , site visits , or related information and materials as requested by DCFS within a timeframe specified by DCFS to determine if services are provided in accordance with the contract .
