R45 Riprap Delivery

Provide all plant labor and material necessary to furnish and deliver R45 riprap to Cargill East River Placement Site. The delivery point is located in Scott County, Minnesota in portions of Section 4, Township 115 North, Range 21 West and Sections 30 and 31, Township 27 North, Range 24 West. Vicinity, Site, and Aerial Maps are included as attachments. The Contracting Officer will notify the Contractor 15 calendar days in advance of when delivery is to commence. The Delivery Order will state the quantity of rock to be delivered. The Contractor must provide the riprap gradation submittals for approval no later than 7 calendar days prior to delivery of materials to the specified delivery location. It is anticipated that commencement of delivery will occur on or before 15 November 2023. Delivery must commence no later than 15 calendar days following issuance of the Delivery Order and must continue Monday through Thursday, as required by the Government until completed, unless directed otherwise by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer may temporarily suspend deliveries for up to five consecutive days. The Contracting Officer must provide the Contractor with at least 48 hours advance notice prior to temporarily suspending deliveries. The Contracting Officer may temporarily suspend deliveries as many times as required during the Contract performance period. The delivery hours must be between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (local time), Monday through Thursday with the potential for Friday deliveries, unless directed otherwise by the Contracting Officer. Deliveries on weekends or Federal holidays will not be allowed. All riprap required under this contract must be delivered to Cargill East River Placement Site.    The site is located on the right descending bank of the Minnesota River in Scott County, Minnesota approximately 2 miles upstream of Interstate 35W Bridge. Cargill East River Placement Site is located on the attached USGS Bloomington MN 7.5 Minute Quadrangle.    The center of the preferred stockpile location is further specified as the following Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) Grid Coordinate:
