Description | A . This contract is for the construction of transit and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout Phase 1 of the RAISE East - West Corridor Transit Priority Project . The project covers approximately 12 miles of the planned 20 - mile corridor , extending from the western Baltimore County to the Fox Ridge community in eastern Baltimore County . The work includes the construction of 31 standalone bus stop landing areas , 24 concrete bus stopping pads at locations without bus bulb landing areas , curb ramps , approximately 100 linear feet of accessible path , signage and wayfinding elements , and landscaping . It also involves upgrading existing bus stop landing areas , accessible paths , and sidewalk curb ramps to meet PROWAG ( Public Rightsof - Way Accessibility Guidelines ) standards . Additional improvements include the installation of bus bulbs , dedicated bus lanes , a bike path , signage and wayfinding , and Transit Signal Priority ( TSP ) upgrades . |
