Description | TWW is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering consulting firms to submit proposals to provide services , including , but not limited to , planning , engineering evaluations and design , permitting , and engineering services during construction of their Raw Water Intake System and associated infrastructure . Task 1 - Engineering Investigations , Studies , Analysis , Technical Memorandum , and Basis of Design Report ( BODR ) a ) Task Description : Task 1 is to evaluate the intake system from river to pump . This shall include evaluation of the existing intake equipment , current operational procedures and methods , screen cleaning , hydraulic conditions in the intake and wet well and recycling streams or other means of material entering the intake structure . Additionally , the firm shall evaluate options for preventing frazil ice formation on the raw water intake Johnson screens . |
