Description | The City of Palm Springs ( the City ) is seeking consulting services to perform a technical feasibility review and economic evaluation of the proposed expansion of the Desert Water Agency ’ s ( DWA ) recycled water system as a joint venture with the City of Palm Springs and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians ( ACBCI ). The Scope of Work is based on a thorough review of existing reference documentation and the application of the Guidelines for Preparing Economic Analysis for Water Recycling Projects by the University of California , Davis , Center for Watershed Sciences ( De Souza et al ., 2011 ), which are hereinafter referred to as ( the Guidelines ). The primary delivery will be a comprehensive technical and economic report . This report will present decision - ready recommendations that will guide the City in determining the level of commitment it ’ s willing to assume .
