Refuse Collection And Disposal Services For The Waimano Hale Complex

The CONTRACTOR shall : A . Provide one ( 1 ) four cubic yard ( 4 CY ) refuse bin for the Waimano Hale Complex . B . Provide twice weekly refuse pick - up and removal on Tuesday and Friday of each week during the normal business hours of 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM except for State holidays , pursuant to the “ Hawaii State Holidays Calendar ,” attached here to as Exhibit “ A ” and made a part hereof . C . Dispose of all refuse collected by transporting the refuse to disposal sites that meet the requirements of all State and local ordinances and regulations applicable to refuse disposal . The refuse bin shall be completely emptied during each collection . Spillage of any type shall be completely picked up by the CONTRACTOR and the area left shall be broom cleaned and free of any debris or refuse . D . Ensure the refuse bin remains in serviceable condition including , but not limited to , being structurally sound , free of cracks , holes , sharp edges , excessive rust , or foul orders . The CONTRACTOR shall replace any bin that the STATE deems defective or not in acceptable working condition . All refuse bins must have a secure , fitted cover , and shall not contain any drain holes . The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for routine cleaning , deodorizing , and inspection of bins , and shall replace any bin that cannot be safely or properly emptied . The CONTRACTOR shall not wash , rinse , or drain liquid from the bin on STATE property due to health and safety concerns . E . Coordinate the placement location and schedule of service days and times with the DDD Outcomes and Compliance Branch Chief , or their designated representative , prior to the commencement of work .
