Description | The purpose of this RFP is to create a pre - qualified list of eligible vendors to provide the requested Excavation and Related Services ( See Section 3 of RFP ). This competitive RFP allows the DPW to solicit interest , evaluate respondents and award one or more respondents with service contracts . The contract duration is anticipated for 3 years , with two subsequent one - year renewals . The typical annual value of Regular , Emergency , and Related Services at the DPW is estimated at $ 250 , 000 per year . Please note that the BPW may issue , at its sole discretion , single or multiple contracts with or without specific assignment of projects , and reserves that right at its sole discretion to cancel this RFP prior to ratifying any contract . The issuance of this RFP and award of a contract does not obligate the DPW to assign subsequent work . See more |
