Rehabilitation of the stone powder magazine at Fort George National Historic Site

Parks Canada Agency has a requirement for construction services for the rehabilitation of the stone powder magazine at Fort George National Historic Site. Work for this project comprises of masonry repair, restoration and roof installation of the stone powder magazine. Elements of this construction project include (but not limited to): Raking joints by hand; Cutting stone; Pinning techniques; Historical repointing; Full stone replacement; See specifications and drawings for further details on the requirement of this project. Site Visit: There will be a mandatory site visit on March 03, 2020 at 1:00PM EST. Interested bidders are to meet at: Fort George National Historic Site of Canada 51 Queens Parade, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario L0S 1J0 43°15'03.0"N 79°03'40.1"W Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the site visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Closing Date and Time: March 24, 2020 at 02:00 pm EDT National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
