Description | This project will include rebuilding the four central air - handling units which are now 30 + years old . The frames and walls of these air - handling units are serviceable , and plans would be to reuse them . Fans , heat wheels , control valves , the heating , preheat and cooling coils would be replaced in these 100 % outside air units . Controls would be updated from pneumatic to DDC . Recently one of the two boilers was replaced . This project would replace the remaining boiler and upgrade the controls . The proposed project will provide much - needed facilities - based improvements including new and improved compressed air and vacuum systems . Additional improvements would include redundant chilled water pumping , and duct cleaning and upgrades to our BAS network engines . |
