ACTION: This is a presolicitaiton notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. The Commodities Contracting Branch at Tinker Air Force Base, OK (AFSC/PZABA) intends to issue a formal solicitation for Repair of Rate of Flow Transmitters of the E-3 Weapon System. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. 2. REQUIREMENT: The Government requires a non-commercial, requirements type contract to repair Rate of Flow Transmitter applicable to the E-3 weapon system. The fuel flow transmitter provides indications of fuel flow from the airframe main tanks in both normal-turbine operation and afterburner modes. A full Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the forthcoming solicitation. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated contract will be for a 5-year basic contract with one 5-year option. The estimated start date is 6 May 2027. 4. SET-ASIDE & ACQUISITION STRATEGY: This acquisition is anticipated to be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. 5. SOLICITATION RELEASE: The solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 5 FEB 2026. Once released, the solicitation, including all associated documents, will be available for download on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website.
