LTBB receives funding to provide affordable housing to the LTBB Community Members . As a function of these funds , Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians ( LTBB ) has over thirty rental units located within the Tribal Boundaries that the LTBB Housing Department is responsible for managing and providing upkeep and repairs . One of those units is located at 620 Second St . in Harbor Springs , Michigan and LTBB is soliciting proposals to replace all windows , siding and roof . A . All work is performed in accordance with the applicable codes , safety standards , and adhere to the general provisions of the contract documents B . Must work with LTBB Housing to schedule prior to work starting and to gain entrance . C . Obtain the necessary equipment , supplies , and materials to accomplish remodel . D . Permits from LTBB Planning will be required for this project . Inspections will be required , and inspector information will be provided by the LTBB Planning Department . E . Responsible for contacting inspectors to schedule and conduct inspection , as required . F . LTBB Housing will require copies of all permits and inspections . G . Erect safety barriers and signage to cordon off work area for safety H . Erect plastic barrier walls to contain dust , debris , and moisture in work areas . I . Place protective coverings on floors in work area by placing plastic sheeting over ducts , counters and finished walls inside containment to mitigate contamination where work effects any interior areas as needed . J . Remove and dispose of all existing windows . K . Replace window with new double pane insulated vinyl double hung windows . L . Remove existing siding and dispose of . M . Provide and install new siding , caulk and insulate around windows , where necessary . N . Install new window trim inside and out for all new windows . O . Patch and drywall from window replacement , prep , sand , and prime . P . Remove existing shingles and dispose of . Q . Provide and replace underlayment , ice / water shield and shingles . R . Thoroughly clean , dust and vacuum interior in affected areas . S . Responsible for repairs in areas where Contractor ’ s equipment damages said areas . T . Make turf , parking lot , and sidewalk and curb repairs in areas where Contractor ’ s equipment damages said areas . U . Responsible for cleaning , removing , and disposal of all debris resulting from this project and removing from site . No debris left on site .
