5 . 3 . 1 Work shall consist of the following ; the removal of existing equipment and the installation of new heating , ventilation , and air conditioning components , including all necessary connections and system commissioning . 5 . 3 . 2 Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing equipment . 5 . 3 . 3 Contractor shall provide and install one ( 1 ) 15 - ton Carrier A / C ( Model # 38AXZM16A0A6 - 0A0A0 ) using R - 454b refrigerant or equivalent . 5 . 3 . 4 Contractor shall provide and install one ( 1 ) 15 - ton Carrier air handler ( Model # 40RLAA16T2A6 - UA0A0 ) or equivalent . 5 . 3 . 5 Contractor shall provide and install hardware to reconnect to existing control system , ensuring compliance with all codes . 5 . 3 . 6 Contractor shall provide and install new duct connections . 5 . 3 . 7 Contractor shall reconnect to the existing electrical supply . 5 . 3 . 8 Contractor shall flush and reconnect to existing refrigerant lines . 5 . 3 . 9 Contractor shall pressure test , evacuate , start and charge the system . 5 . 3 . 10 All work shall be complete as per manufacturer ’ s specifications and shall meet all applicable federal , state and local codes , including any and all best industry practices . 5 . 3 . 11 Contractor shall provide a one ( 1 ) year labor warranty from the date of installation and an equipment warranty .
