SUBJECTMarket research is being conducted to identify potential sources that either ( 1 ) possess the expertise , capabilities , and experience to manufacture this bell crank , or ( 2 ) currently have available stock of this asset in new surplus ( NS ) condition . ITEM DESCRIPTIONThe Bell Crank ( NSN : 1560 - 00 - 966 - 7522 ; P / N 205 - 001 - 905 - 1 ) is a component of the United States Air Force UH - 1N helicopter . IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITIONThere is currently no impediment to competition . INTERESTThe DLA / AWB Contracting Office intends to compete this solicitation amongst the open commercial market and will consider each candidate based on technical qualifications , price , and delivery schedule .
