REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS / PROPOSAL ( RFQ / P ) FOR A SECURE VESTIBULE CONSTRUCTION

The District is seeking proposals from qualified General Contractors for the construction of a new secure entryvestibule at Fox Meadow Middle School (“ Project ”). The Project will generally consist of , but will not be limited to :• Construction of a building addition and / or reconfiguration at the main entrance to create a secure vestibule • Interior and exterior wall construction , including storefront or glazing systems • Door and hardware installation , including secure access control doors • Modifications to existing building systems impacted by the work , including but not limited to electrical , lighting , fire alarm , data , and mechanical systems • Integration of security systems including access control , intercom , and camera infrastructure ( final deviceinstallation may be by District vendors ; contractor to coordinate and provide pathways , power , and rough - ins )• Site modifications at the entry area , which may include concrete flatwork , sidewalks , ramps , ADA complianceadjustments , and exterior finishes • Roofing tie - ins and building envelope integration as required by the addition • Interior finishes including ceilings , flooring , painting , and casework as applicable • Temporary protection of existing facilities and safe egress during construction • Coordination with school operations and District personnelSee more
