Residential Demolition and Site Restoration

The City of Crestwood is seeking bids for demolition and site restoration services for two recently purchased residential properties , 963 Sanders & 967 Sanders . The proposed work includes : removal / demo of the existing residential structure , removal / caping of any buried or aerial utilities , regrading flat the existing site , seed / sodding of regraded areas , and potential other on - call work on the properties or adjacent thereto , including Sanders Park , as needed , at an agreed upon rate . SCOPE OF THE WORK a . Complete an environmental assessment and report for each home per local , state and , federal guidelines . No environmental reports have been performed on the structures at this time . b . Abatement of the home as necessary for safe demolition per local , state , and federal guidelines . c . Coordinate with local utilities to remove services : i . Domestic Water ii . Storm Sewer iii . Sanitary Sewer iv . Electrical v . Natural Gas vi . Cable d . Cut , remove , and cap all utilities . i . If necessary , coordinate with electrical provider and cable to have aerial feeds removed . e . Make sure the site has the appropriate sedimentation and erosion control necessary during the process and please leave trees alone unless they pose a work issue ( talk with the City prior to said removal ) f . Demolish and remove the residential homes and their foundations . g . Fill and level ( to surrounding site elevation ) any remaining depression left by demo activities . i . Any fill used will be clean dirt free of construction debris . h . Seed and straw the site . Please plan on using a tall fescue seed . i .
